Grassroots for Good hosted their annual Christmas gift and care parcel giveaway at the home of Grassroots community football in Hackney Wick, in partnership with local charity Hackney Wick and Fish Island CDT
The event, held over two days, which worked closely with a school(s) and community groups saw over 200 toys and gifts given out to low income groups across East London. Using The Loop, which is a building used by local artist, entrepreneurs and community groups.
Brian Akintokun, CEO of G4G, said the following "The event has been great to help low income families and children get free gifts at an expensive time of year, we would like to thank all volunteers, community and corporate partners for their ongoing support towards grassroots communities and this event."
